I have an ongoing interest in algorithmic management, particularly related to gig work, platform work, and on-demand work. I'm currently working on a empirical manuscript investigating alienation and algorithmic management.
As part of my interest in algorithmic work, I have also published research related to platform strategy.
New Forms of Qualitative Research
My co-authors and I have an ongoing research project related to the future of qualitative research. We have organized two related PDWs at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting. I also engage in netnography or online ethnography.
