Anna focuses on challenging questions of societal relevance, such as interrogating the boundaries of the firm, investigating new organizational forms, and exploring the implications of algorithmic management and the gig economy. Methodologically, she employs a range of qualitative approaches, including grounded theory, process theorising, and inductive case-based theorising. Her projects are based in new organisational contexts which include both multi-sided platforms, such as Uber and Amazon, and online communities.
